a5d34d51 4I highly recommend you read the detailed help on
5installation, upgrading and use of Moodle, stored
6in the doc subdirectory of this installation, or

12For the impatient, here is a basic outline of the
13installation process, which normally takes me only
14a few minutes:

f4537fb6 161) Move the Moodle files into your web directory.
17
182) Create an empty directory somewhere to store
19 uploaded files (NOT accessible via the web).
20 This directory must be writeable by the web server
21 process.
22
233) Create a single database for Moodle to store all
24 it's tables in.
25
264) Copy the file config-dist.php to config.php, and
27 edit it with all your own settings.
28
295) Visit your new home page with a web browser. Moodle
30 will lead you through the rest of the setup,
31 creating an admin account and so on.
32
336) Set up a cron task to call the file admin/cron.php
34 every five minutes or so.
