7 For the impatient, here is a basic outline of the

8 installation process, which normally takes me only

11 1) Move the Moodle files into your web directory.

13 2) Create a single database for Moodle to store all
\r
14 it's tables in (or choose an existing database).
\r
16 3) Visit your Moodle site with a browser, you should
\r
17 be taken to the install.php script, which will lead
\r
18 you through creating a config.php file and then
\r
19 setting up Moodle, creating an admin account etc.
\r
21 4) Set up a cron task to call the file admin/cron.php
\r
22 every five minutes or so.
\r
